CBDR Activated to Pagosa Springs

One of the most amazing ministries that our church partners with is Colorado Baptist Disater Relief. They go to places that most of us cannot get to due to jobs, family, health, etc. These volunteers are trained to serve as tree cutters, meal prep, shower units, laundry units, and many other services all in an effort to love God and others through their service.

You can help support this ministry by giving prayers and money towards these efforts. To find out more about this ministry, visit https://www.coloradodr.org/.

Here is the activation email sent to volunteers and churches just this week:

Flooding close to downtown Pagosa Springs, Colorado

Dear Pastors and Church Family,

Colorado Baptist Disaster Relief (CBDR) has been deployed to Pagosa Springs and Archuleta County to assist with ongoing flood recovery efforts in Southwest Colorado. Our team will be based out of Centerpoint Church in Pagosa Springs as we serve the affected communities during this difficult time.

We invite individuals and churches who would like to support these efforts financially to partner with us in covering the costs of this deployment. Donations will help provide:

• Three meals a day for volunteers

• Fuel for vehicles and generators

• Field supplies and necessary equipment

• Command center expenses

This deployment is expected to continue for several weeks or longer, and your generosity will help make this ministry possible as our volunteers serve those impacted by the flooding.

Donations can be sent to:

Colorado Baptist Disaster Relief

10390 Bradford Road

Littleton, CO 80127

or

Southwest Colorado Relief Fund

Every contribution makes a difference and helps us serve families and communities in need during this challenging season.

Above all, please continue to keep the residents affected by the flooding, our emergency responders, and all disaster relief volunteers in your prayers. Pray for strength, safety, provision, and opportunities to share the love of Christ with those we serve.

Thank you for standing together with us and being part of this important ministry.

In Christ,

Colorado Baptist General Convention
